@Zailrand @process @AirRation @Mauve_matelot Part of the problem that Boris Johnson has is that being a journalist, part of the craft is to poke subjects in a way that gets a reaction and creates controversy. This looks like him playing devils advocate just to create good copy.
Of course, if he thought that he was going to one day be Prime Minister, he might have had to consider how barkingly stupid this would look 13 years later.
