@YouInMyEye Yeah, I think people need to wake up and realize you can't buy happiness.

Although, it's also often not something one can create just by oneself... it often takes community, companionship, and/or a human-centric environment.

I'm pretty sure a lot of medieval peasants were - despite having zip for wealth & living under a lord's thumb (some were much, much better than others) - happier than many people are nowadays...

Because we built a toxic society and hostile lived environments.
