This morning's launch was still a failure when you consider that the part of Starship(LOL) where the people would go failed bigtime. That part of the ship has never survived a test.
The first stage capture, as impressive as it was lacks relevance if you cannot get your people back alive.

The fanboys are certainly obnoxious today.
They spent the morning glorying the scrub of the Blue Origin launch this morning.
SpaceX's policy of moving fast and breaking things means they launch when not ready on purpose. At the same time, just about everyone else in the industry does everything they can not to blow up their ships under any circumstances.
The fanboys are aware of this difference in engineering philosophy, yet they cannot resist acting like a coup has been scored.
