Phones need an automatic "report this call to the ftc" button in their app.

Also, it'd be great if all new numbers were automatically added to the do not call registry and you had to opt in.

@0x56 of course the easiest solution for your telecom is to just recharge the carrier that passed on the message, until you get to the source carrier, and the source carrier can charge back their client.

Which would make it so that their Clients would have to PAY to send span... or the Carriers would be extra careful to make sure they have the actual person and billing entity (which means alot harder to hide).

Spoof riding would come out of the Carriers pocket. no charge to spoof victims.
