How many of you out there have had to set your jumpers correctly on the motherboard when assembling your computer?

Bit of the tail end of jumpers entirely but one of my first motherboards that I ever had needed these set to defaults because apparently this board was missing them and did NOT like it.
In a sense I'm somewhat sad I missed the serious jumper era just in case I needed to know it for later; But yeah, I don't miss the LGA775 era of jumpers. Coming right off the capacitor plague, too (09ish IIRC).
heh, unfortunately I'm not so lucky. Just enough DOS experience to boot for updating BIOS and motorola ROMs.
Had a luckyish start with computer hardware just before and in high school (2011ish) :P
