I grew up with cats, typically 4-6 in the house at a time. I learned how to communicate with them on their level, should they deign it.

To this day, I can connect with a cat when no one else can. A daughter-in-law once had two outdoor cats. She said they never let people touch them. Both were in my lap within minutes. 😊
