musk has a history of firing employees that do not laugh at his jokes
So pretty much "In my world it was funny, I do not understand why not in the real world"
@Kinnison I turned down a job offer from #SpaceX several years ago, one reason being he'd just fired 10% of the workforce for no reason other than culling the herd. He wanted to frighten everyone else into working harder or else. I passed, because I knew there was no job security with him.
Everyone who was in the room when I interviewed was gone within a year.
