@Sr0bi I think some people are just reflexively programmed to vote R (or D) regardless of who is the actual candidate. The Republicans could nominate Bernie Sanders and 40% would vote for him. Republican voters tend to be a bit sheep-ish.
Also there was a comment from a poll worker about men trying to supervise wives and daughters when they vote.
