Just finished reading "Children of Doro" by @MLClark.
Throughout the work, I felt humbled and awed by the depth of universe creation. In my opinion, its richness equals what Tolkein did with "Lord of the Rings" and Herbert did with "Dune."
If you like pew-pew sci-fi, this isn't for you. This is what intelligent science fiction literature is supposed to be. It's loosely inspired by "The Brothers Karamazov."
The best SF novel I've read in years.
