I hope they didn't have any vacation plans.
No return date for Nasa astronauts amid problems with Boeing Starliner capsule | Space | The Guardian https://bit.ly/4flusQ1
@ColtSTaylor As I've posted umpteen times, they are not stranded, they can come home right now if necessary. #Starliner remains docked at #ISS so #NASA and #Boeing can run thruster tests at the station and compare the results to tests they're running at White Sands.
Those tests were successful in finding that certain valve seals need to be upgraded for future flights.
Test flights are for tests. They're doing what they're supposed to be doing. Don't fall for the clickbait.
@WordsmithFL I don't know about "they can come home right now if necessary". There are currently 5 vehicles docked to ISS. 2 of them are for cargo, cannot carry crew. The Soyuz can carry 3 crew, the Dragon can carry 4. That's 7 people. There are currently 9 people on-station, and if the Starliner cannot fly, two are indeed stranded if return is necessary. @ColtSTaylor
For the umpteenth time, they can and will come home on #Starliner. I don't know how many times this has to be posted.
Here is the July 25 press conference that confirmed all is well. I have watched it. I suggest you do so as well.
@NoahPaulLeGies Mute world for you.
