In Florida, fireworks may be purchased and discharged year-round ... A few years back, a drunk drove his car smack into a fireworks store. The whole thing blew up quite spectacularly.

Fireworks are set off here... when there's a soccer game, when we *win* a soccer game, when someone has a birthday, when it's a holiday (of which there are many), when it's a Tuesday night and everyone's bored... 🙃
