@AverageCitizen Tribalism at its worst ... The GOP is going to lose bigly in November, up and down the ticket. I'm sure McConnell and the rest of them know it, but they're too cowardly to stand united and say so.

@WordsmithFL yeah, my Republican congressman is not running for fifth term. I was rather surprised by this since it is a ‘safe’ seat for him. Probably didn’t want to kiss Trump’s butt anymore.

@AverageCitizen I have a casual acquaintance with a local Republican politician who's been in one office or another for many years. He's normally non-partisan, but I watched his rhetoric change as #Trump poisoned the party. A real shame.
