#Politics Rewatched "Good Night and Good Luck" today. I was reminded of the direct connection between Joe McCarthy and Donald #Trump -- lawyer Roy Cohn.
McCarthy employs the same word salad fire hose of lies and smears that Trump does, just with a bit more refinement.
False allegations of Communists hidden in the government was the precursor of today's "deep state."
Cohn was Trump's mentor.
