#Politics I think the statistical trick here is that the poll reflects responses by "people who usually think" of themselves as a Republican.
A lot of sane people have left the Republican party, and now consider themselves unaffiliated. The ones who are left are the MAGAs, so of course they believe #Trump despite all the evidence.
