I slept for the vast majority of the last two days. Still have a fever, chills, sore throat, and low energy, but I feel I've nipped it from getting worse - and it hasn't descended to my lungs, thank goodness.
I'm staying in isolation until after the fever breaks, but once I'm healthier again, whew! My body's going to need a smacking good workout after all this bedrest, I tell you what!
@MLClark You are doing the right thing, which is what you always do. I wish I could fix it for you, but in the meantime enjoy hiding under the covers sleeping the day away. You've earned a break.
@MLClark By now, you've probably seen that CBS recycled a lot of early story ideas from BBC. They eventually start to find their own ways. The BBC version just ended the series, so π€ , but in the CBS version Sam and Jay have been far more successful with the B&B than Alison and Mike ever were.
That's what I'm loving about the BBC version - its attention to the many pragmatic slings and arrows of owning and trying to renovate and monetize an old home. :) It just feels a bit more grounded in reality outside the ghost business. But I'll revisit the US version in due course, especially with my writer-hat on.
@MLClark Oh, by the way, Mark Hamill has been quite vocal about appearing on CBS "Ghosts." With the strikes, who knows how far it's gone, but hopefully he appears in an S3 episode.
@MLClark In CBS, by the end of S2 Jay is keeping a list of "ghost rules" trying to understand how the universe works. Mike never did that.
I had an idea ... What if they filled a bucket with mansion dirt, put it in the back of a pickup, a ghost stands in it, and they drive it towards the ghost barrier? Because they're on mansion land, can they pass? π€
It's like Davey Jones in "Pirates" when he stands in the water bucket on land.
