After the Shuttle program ended, for a couple years we were allowed to take tours inside the Launch Control Center, which was attached to the Vehicle Assembly Building by a bridge.
When we arrived, I always instructed my guests to look up, because I thought this was such a dramatic view -- and one not often seen by the public.
