@JoyfullyDazed Hi Lisa ... Going back through my online archives, I found this sunrise launch from July 2018. I thought you might enjoy it. Not only is the launch eclipsed by its own exhaust plume, but we also got a very nice "jellyfish" at the end.

Wow! That's incredible to watch. Thank you for sharing it. Whenever I watch launches I get jealous and kick myself for not being a bigger space nerd when I was a kid. It fascinates me so much now.

I lost my vision many years ago but regained it a few years later, (cornea transplants), and even though I can see distance again, I never gained back the ability to see the stars at night. I miss it very much.

@JoyfullyDazed My eyesight isn't the greatest either. The skies here in east-central Florida are very clear so the stars tend to stand out.

This one is my favorite, a Falcon Heavy launch from January. It was at sunset and clear, so I was able to record the two boosters coming all the way back here.

(This one is for the deniers who claim SpaceX somehow fakes the landings ... 🙄 )

Watching them take off will never get old to me. I get really jealous of the astronauts. 😂 But, I'm extremely claustrophobic so I know I wouldn't be very happy inside a suit, inside a rocket...lol. Still, what an amazing experience it must be. I look at the moon at night and think how cool is it that there are footprints there. I want my footprints to be there.
