That's just more chaos. There isn't a chance of TFG actually becoming Speaker. He wouldn't win the vote, wouldn't accept it if he won, and would have no idea how to do the job if he were asked.
McQ couldn't count votes. TFG can't even figure out numbers.

@DavidSalo I think it will be a repeat of January -- round after round of votes with no one achieving a majority.
The clock will keep ticking, however, on the continuing resolution and next month the government will shut down.
The MAGA Republicans have made it clear that they will defrock any Speaker who negotiates with Democrats to fund the budget.
There's a possibility Gaetz gets kicked out of the House for ethics violations. That might be the nation's only salvation.
