I'm reading through the PDF of a May 15, 1969 interview NASA then-administrator James Webb gave to project management scholars.
Pretty boring, but somewhere in these 40 pages is a nugget referenced in a book.
Which is why I sought refuge in a bad limerick.

I'm sure you know who Mira Furlan was. She and her husband fled Yugoslavia because she was trying to bridge both sides and had death threats issued against her.
I interviewed her on the fifth anniversary of her departure. We sat in the darkened war room set, ironically.
Mira was pure and innocent of soul. I wish you could have known her.
She left a tremendous gift to the world in her performances. I'd heard she was a wonderful person, too. I'm so glad to know you found her so.

Oh, but that's the sneaky fun of tedious research, no? Moving through monotony so you can seize upon that great "aha!" with all the more enthusiasm when you reach it.
I tripped down a rabbit hole of Kosovo War diplomatic statements myself this past hour, while tinkering with the anti-memoir instead writing a poem, so... we writer types go on some strange journeys to get our kicks, eh?
