This popped up today in my Facebook feed from nine years ago ... Back then, I was leading tours of the Launch Control Center. This was the view of the adjacent Vehicle Assembly Building as we went inside the LCC.
Some panels are lighter than others. Those are panels that replaced ones lost during the 2004 hurricanes. Since then, the VAB has been repainted.
