Once upon a time, George Lucas got the idea to create a "Young Indiana Jones" TV series to teach history. It filmed over three years, but not everything aired. It all showed up eventually on VHS and then in the DVD collection.

One of my favorite episodes was the Indy/Lawrence of Arabia crossover. He met Lawrence as a child, they corresponded over the years, and it culminated with this episode It's on YouTube at:
