CAROLINA MOUNTAINS THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING...
In coordination with the North Carolina Geological Survey, it has
been determined that a risk of additional landslide activity
exists across the mountains of North Carolina this afternoon and
evening. Many unstable slopes remain in areas of steep terrain
because of the heavy rain that fell late last week from Helene.
