I have a family member who returns texts months after they have been sent.
No one is quite sure where he is at any given time, and he shows up unannounced when he wants to and disappears just as quickly.
I've been doing this all wrong, and I want a do-over. ☹️
@White_Rabbit I used to have a great uncle like that, before cell phones. He would turn up out of the blue for a visit and then disappear again. No one knew where he was, when he'd be back or what he did while he was gone. 🤣
