There’s proverb that goes “Russia is the motherland of elephants”, it pokes fun at a special brand of patriots who claim Russia to be the cradle of earth’s humanity and the origin of everything.
Before you decide it’s fringe group of lunatics, an MP from the ruling party not long ago used the floor to declare war on the USA for killing “American Indians who are in fact Russian emigrants who went their across the Bering land bridge” 🫤
