Good morning to you!

May your day be as soothing and warm as a stroll in calm summer waters.

(Mission Bay Beach, Auckland)

@ayankdownunder I love the look of your beaches, but the thought of sharks gives me pause

@Vonzales quite rare to find sharks here. Australia has more of a shark issue (by frequency).

@ayankdownunder I once heard the expression NZ is like Down Under minus the venomous snakes and spiders lol

@Vonzales 😁 both Australia and NZ are "down under."
And the way it's been explained to me is very similar to what you describe:
'In NZ, there's just one type of poisonous spider (and its bite will hurt for a while, but that's the worst of it).
Whereas In Australia, everything is trying to kill you.'

@ayankdownunder I thought Down Under referred only to Australia, seeing as how NZ people rarely display walking on their heads as opposed to certain aussies I'm familiar with 😈

@Vonzales 🀣 as an outsider, hearing the crap that Aussies and kiwis throw at each other is pretty amusing. Most of it involves sheep-love.😁

But kiwis are very happy to label the NZ rock "down under," as well. Hence my @ name.

@ayankdownunder
Sheep-love is a prominent insult involving Caucasus people, btw. Here's for instance a fresh meme that says "Sheep farms recently visited by a well-known regional leader are welcoming new offspring with vaguely familiar snouts"

@Vonzales 😁 low-hanging joke fruit, imo.
The sheep industry has been a major factor in growing the NZ economy over the decades, as it is in Australia. In fact, I'm told, that sheep outnumber humans by a very significant amount. Lots of chances for a date, should one be inclined.😁

"Sheesh, the competition is fierce on this site!", thought every pretty girl of CoSo reading this toot
