Usually they will lower the factual numbers when it suits them, so Ukrainian intel reports of 3 million conscripts can be trusted.

@Vonzales we’re all conditioned by our environment. Educated Russians and Americans know better. Millions of Russians live in rural areas with minimal education, by intent, and only state TV and radio for information much like Russia’s pals at Fox and Sky.

@Vonzales then they’re not from the thousands of rural villages where you roll back to the 13th century, where anything beyond rudimentary education remains non existent and the state media is gospel. They’re the ones doing a lot of the fighting and dying, much as we tend to call upon those with less to do more. Our ideologies radically differ, but, in a country where Russian money has so effectively co opted GOP politicians that difference, for about 40% of Americans it’s negligible.
This checks out with previous reports of Lukashenko sealing off public access to southern regions of Belarus, bordering with #Ukraine, whence the first attack on Kyiv was staged in February.
