On top of tesla and all the other large corporations that Gov Abbott bends over backwards for with all kinds of incentives for them at the cost of Texas tax payers... many of them are terrible water wasters. All the fresh water needed for drilling/excavating oil & gas, and the Bitcoin miners need a huge amount of electricity & water for cooling.
Soooooo... Texas has a big political problem that is leaving the state in severe water shortage.
