I dont really have a bulletproof reason I think learning cursive is a good thing. Maybe Im just old, and its a norm.
But my reason is history. Im a woman who learned cuneiform cuz I knew the interpretations were bullshit.
I was right btw. And I think my students should have that freedom.
@LaurelGreen Mormons have old baptism and death certificates on microfiche. Most of these were written using cursive writing. If you are doing any type of family genealogy or are a history major, it is a must. Now, the reason why Mormons have this information...well...it is their belief that baptising dead people will accept Jesus and be able to enter into the kingdom of God. #religion
@LaurelGreen Yup, imagine baptizing dead people that were members of other religions as Mormons.
