@Victor 70* during the day: 68* at night; ceiling fans on 24/7 and a pedestal fan pointed at me at night
@Victor 78 from 7 AM to 10 PM then 70.
decent insulation so house stays below 78 most days.
@Victor 72.
@Victor
66!
Cuz, I'm not taking orders to keep it at 70 when you know damn well the F'n #GovAssbutt and every state's gov has his/hers set low or lower.
@Victor
Y'all suffering.
@Victor In the past, we'd wait til interior was 80 before turning on the living room window AC. Now that we have the mini split heat pump system and solar, I'll be changing it up. My solar guy recommended setting daytime temp to 62 while the solar is producing and using the house as a thermal battery, in effect. Set to 80 at 4:00 pm, when higher tiered rates kick in and coast through the evening. We'll see how it works out. The added exterior wall insulation should help with this approach.
@Victor wow we have our AC come on if it exceeds 81 but stand in front of a fan when needed and donβt wear much π Iβd need a sweater in some of yβallβs houses
I have set mine at 79 but have ceiling fans and a dehumidifier going going from 1200-2000 hrs. Lucky that nights are still cool so open up windows around 2100-2300 hrs.
