@AskTheDevil I want to halt our over cooking of earth to protect fresh water resources and ensure all beings survive. It is why I am a vegan, recycle and only use my car for medical emergencies.
@AskTheDevil We may have already passed the point of no return for our species to survive. 60,000 Europeans died from heat this year.
Scientist believe large animals like cattle and buffalo likely deer too will die off in the southwest and mid south due to extreme heat.
@VeganHiker It is indeed my concern that we have passed the point of no return. I like to think we could still claw our way back, if we could learn to stop fighting with each other and just tackle the problems.
But how many creatures will be lost in the meantime? How much smaller a world will it become?
@AskTheDevil One being is too many.
Soon only wealthy will be able to afford to live in the temperate zones. Everyone else will be in a battle to survive the heat in tropical bands and rising seas in coastal areas.
We are losing fresh water sources too.
@VeganHiker Good on you, by the way for your efforts.
@VeganHiker But what do we have to do to get the huge polluters to stop, and fix the existing damage? It doesn't look like the powers that be intend to do it.
