I celebrate both Christmas and Hanukkah with my boy. I’m having a difficult time coming up with gift ideas, so today I asked him to make a list for me. He said, “What would I put on it? I’ve already got everything I need.” 🥹❤️
@ArcturusSaDiablo he’s such a good kid 😭 I’m so lucky to be his mom. ❤️
@Valkyrie_D great job mom!
@Valkyrie_D he sounds like a great kid.
@Valkyrie_D why not go for experiences? i don't get my son stuff anymore. cash helps. but then also, dinner for 2 for him & his gf. or going to the movies, things like that. my kiddo loves that sort of stuff. and chocolates. he loves all the holiday chocolates like toblerone and purdy's hedgehogs.
@singlemaltgirl I think this is the way to go!! ❤️
@Valkyrie_D also, i don't know why we don't try to celebrate ALL the holidays at this time of year. i'm all about the food and seeing friends, and celebrating good times.
Joint experiences he will remember forever. Skiing, snowshoeing, skating, axe throwing, movies, dog sledding, miniature golf, live theater, concerts, symphony etc
I took my sons to Nutcracker Ballet every Christmas when they were young boys. Grown adults now, they still talk about it.
One loves nutcrackers. His staff gave him this one last year. He is also a scuba dive master/instructor
@LnzyHou we’re going skiing / tobogganing down Mt. Washington this year 💕❤️ I agree with giving experiences 100%
Great fun. 🎿🛷
@Valkyrie_D Awww…what a sweet kid. Maybe ask him to list local adventures he’d like to see.
@Valkyrie_D
Okay, that's it. Parent of the Year, confirmed. Raised a real sweet kid there.
