@Valkyrie_D See this ties in with your reply to me. I've done similar in Scotland. The last time included camping near Ben Nevis then climbing it (an easyish trail with compass & OS maps, rather than the crampon way) the following day. Similar things on Skye too. You'd love it! @EllyOnTheGo

@EllyOnTheGo Oh Elly, that sounds like it's going to be amazing! So what's the deal - did hubby like to camp before you were together or something, or is it something he's always wanted to do together?

@Valkyrie_D - why doesn't that surprise me about you? I used to hike & camp all over the Scottish Highlands a few times a year, often parking up then hiking for a couple of miles to find a good spot to pitch the tent away from everything

@BillyBones THAT…that right there is heaven to me!!!! I’ll even fish or hunt for my own food. I’m fairly outdoorsy! 💕 I feel closer to nature than I do humans.

@BillyBones @Valkyrie_D He's camped a few times before as a kid but his love is photography. He loves taking photos of nature and wildlife

@EllyOnTheGo my best friend is a wildlife photographer!!! He goes on camping trips just to shoot wildlife in their natural habitats🦉 🐻 🐟 Make sure he brings his camera and a chair!!
