My 2 oldest boys are both political centrists but one leans a bit left and the other a bit right.
I spent quality time this weekend watching them interact. They are open and respectful in their discussions.
I was happy to see they both had opinions, they had reasons for having those opinions, and I'll be darned if they didn't actually listen to each other. I might not always agree with them but they are on the right track for knowing how to have a civil and intelligent discussion.

And this is why I see this pic as something unique, considering all the crap that both sides fight over. Me, I'm a Libertarian/Conservative, and can sit down with someone and have a conversation w/o throwing punches or burning down a city. There was a time that we all were able to do that, but I think those days are gone.
