My Dad is so cute, his dementia has progressed, but the things he gets in his head are so cute sometimes.
Today he says he needs to drive the school bus to go het the kids. (Dude has NEVER driven a bus, worked in insurance his whole life)
Mom told him there is no school today, and he said that was a difference of opinion... lol
@nogoodhandle I am sorry you had to deal with that. That part of it is so hard, but, I have a double dose, my FIL has Dementia due to MSA, and now my Dad has Lewy.
Luckily caring for my FIL the last few years really helped me get mom ready and I was able to deal with it better. but yeah. it sucks, so you laugh when you can
@Uppitywomyn I am glad you are finding some bright spots in this. Am am sorry though - it's a tough disease. My dad had dementia, and while we had similar moments it's still difficult to see in someone you care for. Best of wishes to you and your family.
