Exactly.
Those states' Republicans are manipulating the vote because they can't win by an actual majority. Many states that are Republican held are minority white and benefit from low voter engagement--including Texas.
Hell, there's one district that's overwhelmingly young and black because of the college, but the district has lied to the students and changed the rules about where and how they need to register multiple times to keep them from being able to vote.

I hear you, but I have to point out that secession wasn't good for the Blacks in the South the first time around, and wouldn't be good for them this time, either.
They, and every one else in the South who struggles to make it a more just and equitable society, would just be thrown under the bus for the sins of the folks who've gerrymandered and connived their way into power.

Im all for forced secession of red states who tried to change the peoples' electoral votes & who enacted racist voter laws after Trump's humiliating loss.
