Like Otis Day and the Knights and The Commitments, they decided to keep the act going when the film was done.
And, I continue to believe that "The Total Balalaika Show" was special because it happened during a brief period of history when Finland and Russia could be friends.

@TwiHusband you have NO IDEA how much you’ve just helped me. My girlie is from EU and we have this challenge game we play, where the goal is the most cringe-worthy music videos on YouTube. The idea is to have the other person cringe hardest. I can throw some Ray Steven’s or Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer at her, and those blows land hard for sure, but she fires back with unending awfulness from Eurovision Song Contests. I feel like she has an unfair advantage, but today- today you have given me a RINGER! :)
