@duglop The thing I remember about Shatner is an excerpt from his memoirs. Majel Roddenberry stated to him that he and her late husband had a dysfunctional father/son relationship.
Shatner got shirty, denied it, then described his perception of his relationship with Gene Roddenberry. His description was the very definition of a dysfunctional father/son relationship. 🙄
FWIW I love Trek. Always have, always will.
