@TruthShout isn't that a common thing? i mean, gay men are unlikely to report if they were involved in casual sex or something for fear the cops won't do anything? similar to trans folks? both groups are highly unlikely to report & highly susceptible to being assaulted & victimized in this way, as i understand.
@singlemaltgirl LGBTQ activists have worked for decades to increase awareness of issues that impact the safety of the community. Larger cities have community liaisons with police. As visibility increases more people are comfortable to live without 'shame' and demand equal justice. The reason I posted the notice is that it appears there is a predator drugging & robbing gay men. There are 4 cases that have the same M.O. 2 of these were fatal encounters. I just want men to be vigilant in NYC.
