@Tim_DrHook_McCracken it's hard to explain but I do have more agency than it seems... I do speak up when I am feeling smothered and when I do she does listen. That was just 1 day out of a 11 day trip (I was just extremely frustrated because in already crowded stores she was taking up more of my personal space.) The next day we went sight seeing and she gave me my space while I was chatting with all kinds of people I didn't know. Next time I'll place boundaries before we leave the house
