Why else do you think many conservative Evangelical churches are opening their own "Bible College?" It's an indoctrination center where they can train the next generation to teach the same crap. They can't open legitimate seminaries because what they teach doesn't line up with the Bible. The doctrine they rely on is flawed.

I won't even pretend to know much about it, but I am increasingly of the opinion that human misery is a crop much like any other, cultivated and sown by evil men to add yet more to the piles of treasure that they already have.

I'm sorry, but Tuberville needs to get removed from office for dereliction of duty to the nation as a whole. He's putting our country at risk with not allowing any new officers to be promoted in ranks, and that in itself is a national security risk. I don't give a FUCK about his views of why he's doing it. This is national security we're talking about, not regulating bodies in the armed services. Fuck him.

'As a clinical psychologist who studies how schools can help students with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, I know traditional report cards distributed three or four times per year don’t do enough to make a difference for children who are prone to outbursts or other challenging behaviors. Studies conducted by my team and others support the idea that these students are better served by daily report cards.'

I don't want to hear TFG called "45" anymore. That's obsolete. Instead we can call him "91." He should like that because 91 is bigger.

When the United States eventually returns to a calmer political climate, whether it takes 12 months or 20 years, the damage that the Republican Party has done will be remembered. History always remembers, even if you burn all the books and ban history from being taught in school.

According to the Florida Education Association, when DeSantis first took office in January 2019, Florida had 2,217 teacher vacancies. As of January 2023, that number has since more than doubled to 5,294 vacancies in a state where teacher pay ranks among the lowest in the country.

The GOP will not win a swing district at the rate they are going - fighting tooth and nail for their leader. PLEASE televise the trial.

“Through the first 5 months of this year, U.S. imports from China were down 24 percent from the same period one year ago, according to the Census Bureau. Companies such as HP, Stanley Black & Decker and Lego are among those that have been repositioning their supply lines for American consumers, either to avoid the risk of being pinched between rival superpowers or as part of a longer term strategy to produce goods closer to customers.” WaPo

Be nice to everyone.

You have no idea what they're dealing with.
