I looked at a national water quality map for lead and compared it to 2020 presidential election results by county as a high-level screening. Didn’t see an obvious correlation. There are so many variables, it would take a well-funded, long-term research project to really evaluate.
@Travis_Flora For years I thought it might be tied to global warming. Between global warming gun violence lack of healthcare services and in general poverty the entire country is suffering from some level of PTSD add in poor education and Americas mental state is unstable at best

Maybe look at pesticide use too? Especially ones with glyphosate.
Or it could be something else. Maybe next I’ll look at education funding by county?
