I've contributed a booklet essay on a very favourite horror film of the new millennium, Christopher Smith's TRIANGLE (2009) to this Collector's Edn Blu. Extras include a video essay by sister-from-another-mr Alexandra Heller-Nicholas https://shop.umbrellaent.com.au/products/triangle-2009-collectors-edition-blu-ray-book-rigid-case-slipcase-poster-artcards
@AntBit This film is so much better than its general perception. Keeps well the balance of being mysterious without becoming random for the sake of surprise. Thought I had been too generous with this film, but my impression did not change in repeat viewings.
@ToruOkada it is, broadly, underseen and overlooked - but its plot is very cleverly charted so that, as you say, no matter how off course it seems to get, everything ni it has its place and its purpose
@AntBit This you on letterboxd?
@AntBit I rate them for myself - mainly to see how my perception has changed over time. Thoughts on a film are always more informative than a simple summary rating - I often like a well-written text on the other end of the rating scale way more than those in the same rating range as mine.
@ToruOkada thanks for the follow - you're going to hate me, because I never give films ratings there...
