Fuck #Microsoft
Woke up to the "Verifying shim SBAT data failed: Security Policy Violation" error message, which gave me a heart attack, as it shuts the computer immediately down after this boot-up message. It is fair to assume that this is an intentional attack on #Linux by Microsoft. Fuckers.
@hanse Believe me, you want to miss this. As this error message is the only one during booting and immediately shuts down the computer afterward, I assumed either a hardware problem or that my laptop destroyed the configuration when shutting down due to low battery. Telling your employer that they have to take back all accepted assignments is no fun. Only after I found the following solution, I calmed down:

@ToruOkada Microsoft is out to end dual-boot even as a concept, which is reason enough to leave them behind.
