I had my DNA done, and my ancestors are more than 80% Irish, with some other random Brit Isles/European/Nordic sprinkled in. Oh, and a miniscule bit of Neanderthal.
@ToolPackinMama similar story here. The Scottish part was no great surprise, since my mother's side were definitely of Oatmeal Savage descent. But the Irish/Viking portion has been the most fun to dig into.
