Folks may perceive I am dismissing the heartbreak of the election outcome too readily.
I am not. I am deeply upset by events, the betrayal of the news media, the sale of our nation to a few billionaires. I’m angry that countless people will suffer more losses of freedom and safety. I’m scared.
So I am in a “both/and” mindset. This is horrible AND I am living the best I can right now. People I love are fading. I don’t want to miss today. I choose to live and love. No surrender.

Yes—and the resources I have go to folks who need support and protection. I’ll keep an eye to know where the hits are landing but will give nothing else.
