A good sign, brought to us from the American Library Association. While 2023 resulted in a record number of book challenges, 2024 is showing a decline. Book bans have faced a lot of push-back. They've been challenged in the courts, and people have been running for seats on school and library boards to replace book banners. Looks like these efforts have born fruit. Let's hope this trend continues!
