We put in a verbal commitment for a dog yesterday. However, he's undergoing heart worm treatment, so it will be a few months before he can even come home. Hence, verbal commitment.

They did have us walk another dog, but he was so much like Dargo, it made me sad. That's weird, right? I should be jumping at the chance to adopt him. I don't think he'll be at the shelter long, though. And the dog we've chosen has had zero takers, because of the heart worms and a previous injury.
