About to watch The NeverEnding Story for the zillionth time (no exaggeration) it's absolutely the only movie from a kid (besides nightmare on elm. St 3) I have never gotten sick of. Don't get me wrong lots of great movies came in the 80s. Lots. But those 2 movies are always my "comfort go tos"
@nblumengarten I think it's because I can relate to Bastian. When I was a kid I was always bullied and just like Bastian books (and music) were my get away.
I get that. I think that's the point of Bastian.

My elementary school used to show this constantly when it rained during recess. Never got tired of it.
