The other is people π― love to see others fail. I truly believe that. That's this area in a nutshell. If you want to succeed at something that's not allowed π
@thedisasterautist it's just frustrating because I'm trying to go full time with my photography so I can actually leave my current job. Problem is my portfolio is outdated (last shoot was when the world shut down) and it's taking me a while to get back into the swing of things. Nature shots interest me but don't if that makes sense.
@Timmah1979 It does.
@thedisasterautist And with the photos I have there's only so many times you can re edit a photo a different way, still keep the integrity of it and keep it looking "new" before everyone's like I think I've seen that before what else to ya have .
So these "friends" are usually like when ya need me give me a call and then you call and they have every excuse in the book. And can't pay a professional because I don't have that kind of income coming in yet as avg price for a model is 150/hr
@thedisasterautist and with me I like to take my time and do things right so it a min of 3 hours for me x 150= alot of money I don't have π
@Timmah1979: People, even and sometimes especially friends, will work to hold you back/down because they don't want you to do or even be thought to do better than they do. Some like to keep you under heel, even though they may like you, because they're jealous, envious, or whatever, and some often wind up resenting you anyway precisely because of what they do to/about you.
That is both my bitter experience over the decades, as well as my observation over that time.
