Throughout the era of Trump, I have been both annoyed and baffled by the way reporters incessantly focus on his mood. It really reveals the mercurial and whim-based decision-making we were expected to normalize. That sort of temperature-taking behavior is common for those living with an abuser.

@elbutterfield Exactly. He’s responsible for collective PTSD in this country. The only way I can see to make it stop is for the media to stop giving him any attention at all and end the codependency that’s systemic in their coverage.
